Verification / Authentication of CPRI Test Reports / Test Certificates / Calibration Certificates / Product Certificates

CPRI offers a verification / authentication service for Test Reports/Test Certificates/Calibration Certificates/ Product Certificates issued by its laboratories. This service is available upon request to domestic and international end-users, industries, and utilities who have received these reports/certificates from their vendors, suppliers, or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

The detailed procedure, guidelines, and terms for this process are outlined below.

1. Guidelines for Requesters

  • Application Channel All verification / authentication requests must be submitted via email to:

    reportverify@cpri.in
  • Pre-requisite for Submission Requesters must ensure they have received the complete Test Reports/Test Certificates/Calibration Certificates/ Product Certificates from their vendor/supplier/OEM before submitting it to CPRI.

    The submission must include the full scanned copy of the report/certificate along with all attachments listed on its first page (such as Oscillograms, Graphs, Photographs, Test Circuit Diagrams, and Drawings).
    Incomplete reports/certificates will not be processed.
  • Validity Period Only reports/certificates within 10 years from their original date of issue are eligible for verification/authentication.
  • Service Fee This verification service is provided on non-chargeable basis.
  • Limitations of Service The authentication outcome is determined solely by comparing the submitted document with official CPRI internal records.

    CPRI will only confirm the authenticity of the document submitted; no duplicate, certified, or additional copies of the report/certificate will be issued to the requester.

2. Step-by-Step Verification Process

Step 1: Receipt of Request

The formal verification request is received from the utility, industry, or end-user via the dedicated email channel.

Step 2: Preliminary Quality Assurance Review

The Quality Assurance Division (QAD) reviews the application for authenticity and completeness. This includes verifying:

  • Transmission from an official company email domain.
  • Inclusion of an official letterhead (with a physically signed copy, if attached).
  • A clearly stated purpose for the verification request.
  • Inclusion of the complete scanned test report and all mandatory attachments.
Step 3: Technical Evaluation

Following successful preliminary review by the QAD, the submitted report / certificate is forwarded to the respective testing laboratory for technical scrutiny and cross-checking against archived office records.

Step 4: Communication of Results

Upon completion of the laboratory scrutiny, the Head of the Quality Assurance Division will formally communicate the final verification / authentication outcome to the requester.
