CPRI has established laboratory for carrying out IEC 61850 conformance testing for server IEDs.  The laboratory is accreditated as Level A lab by UCA International User Group (UCA IuG), USA which means the laboratory is an Independent Test Lab with certified ISO/IEC 17025 Quality System. 

The laboratory was established during 2007-2008 and since then this facility of CPRI is being utilised by the manufacturers regularly for conformance testing and development test requirements.
